Kowiachobee Animal Preserve is a Non-Profit Educational Organization that is dedicated to respecting all types of animals!  There are many various ways in which we can accomplish this, but without your help it would be next to impossible.

Our focus at KAP is on all types of animals such as:  endangered, exotic, farm, and even domestic animals.  KAP is a combination Animal Preserve, in addition to being an educational, hands-on learning facility.

Our organization is available for educational lectures. We believe that no matter what your age, there is always something new to learn!  We can also arrange private seminars and public presentations for all occasions.  At KAP we have done numerous presentations at public and private schools, day care centers, and many civic groups and organizations throughout Collier County.  We have also done school presentations in conjunction with Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

During our off site presentations, we will bring an assortment of different kinds of animals to assist us.  For instance, we could bring along our cougars, some of our reptiles, a few of our small animals, and maybe even a goat for the kids!  Most of our animals have ventured out to educate our audiences, and to teach people a better understanding for the life that lives all around us.  We find that if we are able to bring the animals with us to our presentation, then our audience can relate better to their needs.  Plus, this helps to make them understand why several of the animals are in captivity, and why they need to stay in captivity.

Kowiachobee Animal Preserve is dedicated to respecting all animals.  We are a 501c3 Non-Profit Organization that is licensed by Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, USDA & USDI.  Our main focus at KAP includes endangered, exotic, farm, domestic animals, and even reptiles.  KAP is not only an animal preserve, WE ARE  an educational  learning facility as well.  You are never too young or old to learn about animals.  KAP is home to over 130 animals: African Spotted & Black Leopards, Panthers, horses, goats, foul, swine, birds, rabbits, snakes, and so many more the list keeps going on.
